Scott Addict eRIDE Ultimate 2022
About Scott Addict eRIDE Ultimate 2022
E-road bikes are on this earth to make things more fun and interesting. They’re here to overtake your limits, to climb steeper and make outings longer. We dig these bikes, and we think you’ll get a kick out of them too. Light, performant, and just as capable as its world tour sibling, the Addict eRIDE is a revelation to the world of cycling.
The idea behind the Addict eRIDE isn't to make things easier. No, Scott wanted to make things tougher. To make climbs higher, longer, steeper. To get you out of the house earlier, and back home later. Range Booster available.
Features
Drive Unit: the Addict eRIDE uses a Malhe drive unit, the reference in terms of light weight and integration. For 2022, the motor gets redesigned for more power, smaller, lighter and with straight-pull spokes. Located in the rear hub, it has 50nm of torque powered by a 250wh battery in the down tube. Three assist modes are available in addition to a new automatic mode. Also new, the led display now shows the battery level and the current mode at a single glance. Follow your performances and interact with your bike ride after ride with the EBIKEMOTION app. The drive unit can as well be connected with any Garmin device receiving ANT+ information.
Assistance: Just as all other electric assist bikes with the Pedelec classification, the Addict can provide an assistance up to 25km/hr after which it becomes a regular road bike. Mahle has developed a dedicated road bike assistance to ensure a natural feeling when the motor starts to give you power again.
Lightweight & Integration: The Addict eRIDE shares the same DNA as the Addict RC. Scott has implemented all of their latest technologies - from the internal cable routing to the carbon construction, the electric version of the Addict leaves nothing to want. With regards to design, they’re very similar. It’s hard to tell which one is the Addict eRIDE or the RC version- the future is now. New for 2022, a LED display has been integrated on the downtube for clear and quick access to all your data.
Range Booster: The Addict eRIDE’s frame gives you the ability to almost double your battery’s range by adding an additional 185Wh battery. The Range Booster comes as an accessory and looks like a simple bottle. Easy to install, it’s just like sliding a bottle into a bottle cage. The system automatically adapts to having two power sources.
New for 2022
Lighter motor
Lighter and more compact range booster
New, colored integrated display
Fast wire-unplug motor for changing the rear wheel
Quick-release rear axle
Derailleur hanger compatible with SRAM Red AXS
